Wheelie Cyprus, the home of quality mountain bike hire in western Cyprus. If you are on holiday in Cyprus and fancy getting out on a bike then we can help.

At Wheelie Cyprus we have two standards of bicycle for hire; those that are designed to cope with serious off road riding - the Mountain Bikes- and, those that are more suited to recreational riding around the roads or on the dusty tracks that criss-cross Cyprus - the Utility Bikes. In both cases the bikes are quality branded products which are well maintained and regularly serviced.

Each rider is lent a helmet, a pair of riding gloves, a water bottle and spare inner tube all of which are included in the hire price. Each group of riders will be given pumps and a mini tool - just in case.

It can be hot and dusty out there; you must keep hydrated, so be sure to take some water with you on the trail. Although we provide water bottles you would be well advised to bring your own hydration pack if you have one.

As part of our mountain bike hire service and for your convenience we can deliver the bikes to your villa or apartment and are happy to suggest some routes for you to ride. These include routes further afield where, with perfect car hire you can explore more remote mountain trails. Enjoy!

The Mountain Bikes

If you want a mountain bike capable of coping with the magnificent Cyprus tracks, single tracks and trails then we would recommend one of our Orange Gringos made by "Orange Mountain Bikes of England".

The Gringo is a purpose built cross country trail bike. To quote the manufacturer "the Gringo lends itself to many off-road riding exploits, but where it excels is in its pure and unfussy usability". In short this is an immensely useable bike with flexibility and superb control, but more than this, its just so well suited to the Cyprus tracks and trails.

The Utility Bikes.

These bikes are intended for recreational use. We have a number of GT Aggressors just waiting to help you explore this beautiful sunny island. They have a rugged design with front suspension and are suitable for road riding and some off-road riding. If you intend to head high into the hills and bash down the trails at speed then we would suggest hiring one of our mountain bikes. If you just want to ride on the tarmac or one of the gravel roads exploring the villages or coastline these bikes will suit you. Fancy a little exercise?
